NGSS Science Lessons

Try Our Simple Approach To Next Gen Science!

Elementary teachers, do you need simple solutions for teaching next generation science? We are building Simply Teaching Science to help meet your needs for high-quality yet practical next gen science materials and support. We love working with K-5 teachers and want to help you discover (or rediscover) the joy of engaging your students in science.

Science Lesson Plans

Our lessons use simple, familiar, accessible contexts that engage students in science practices and concepts. Neuroscience research tells us that young students need guided, real-world experiences to build solid conceptual frameworks that will form the foundation for science learning in high school and beyond. In our lessons, students develop science concepts and practices by using their senses to explore their own worlds

We also know that tailoring science instruction to your specific environment requires support. To ease demands on your time, our Lesson Packs contain lesson plans, NGSS alignments, guided questions, student worksheets, assessments, rubrics, and science content support so that you can focus on teaching and learning.

Our new Teach the Dimensions line offers simple, foundational instruction in NGSS Science and Engineering Practices and Crosscutting Concepts. Teach the Dimensions materials can be used to prepare students for the fully integrated NGSS lessons or to give students extra practice in individual dimensions as needed.
